Excelsior Fencing Club of Kitchener-Waterloo

It is with much sorrow that we report the passing of long time volunteer Jo Deeks-Weber early this past Monday morning. Jo was a dedicated volunteer and served on the board of directors for 12 years — the longest of any director in club history. She ended her time with Excelsior in March of 2008 when she resigned as Treasurer due to health concerns. Jo was 52 years old. She will be fondly remembered by club members who knew her and she will be sadly missed. Our thoughts go out to Jo’s husband, James Weber who is a past-president of Excelsior.
